I really like this girl alot do i have a chance still or should i give up?

I really like this girl, but she has a boyfriend. last school year when we were juniors the guy she dates now cheated and left her for another girl. when he did this she randomly started talking to me and flirting with me by calling me names, lightly pushing me and she gave me like 2 hugs a day, one before and after school. we used to text alot and stuff and one time my friend decided to tell her that i liked her and she said back to him 'awww why doesn't he tell me?'. i was always afraid to pursue it because i always thought she was too pretty and that id be stupid to think i would have a chance due to what has happened with me and girls in the past. once junior year ended we still talked alot over the summer until the guy who left her started talking to her again and basically talked her into forgiving him for cheating on her and leaving her for another girl. They were basically only talking at this point and they didn't start actually dating until the beginning of october. this happened towards the end of the summer and then once the school year started she was still technically single but she still talked to me some but never flirted with me as much and didn't and still hasn't hugged me since last school year. i really like her and wish i had done something last school year and now she talks about how like 3 other guys like her and she doesn't know which one she likes better. i feel like im wasting my time with her because so many other guys like her adn i can't imagine her picking me over any of them...should i just give up or what?
