If the Pens have such a deep roster and Sidney Crosby is such a great player?

1 is just flatout wrong. As for 2...I do think they have a tremendously deep lineup,but they are naturally just going through a tough time,since they really just can't keep up that hot start.So I don't think it will be long before another streak with them just tearing it up.Because of cap, I think they let go of a few players like Sykora,who were components of their last 2 seasons,although honestly,having not watched enough Pens' regular season games,I can't really say how much said players contributed.Besides,the season following a Cup appearance (2 consecutive in this case),let alone a Cup victory,everybody's gunning for you to prove how they stack up against great teams.Obviously,this is no excuse for losing,but it does present a new challenge for really good teams.
