Bearshare+ Ipod Help?

Ok so I downloaded bearshare, I have itunes, and I have a audio converter. the problem is everytime I try to bring songs from bearshare to itunes I get this message "One or more of the songs being added are in the protected WMA format (including the song_______) and could not be converted" Now Im not quite sure how to use the audio converter so could I get some help?
