When will people realise that animals like this can NEVER be pets...?

These types of dogs are illegal for a reason and tragedies likes this highlight why this is. Having said that,small children should never be left alone with ANY dog,for the dog's safety as well as the child's. Also, a dog will only be as savage as the owner allows it to be. What a tragic case-this poor little child did not deserve this.
