What place has the best american indian-white relations?

I am a white man and my wife is native american and we have a son. We want to find a nice place to settle down but dont know where the best place would be. We were thinkin at first Rapid City, SD, but their is too much racial tension. We want a nice place that has none of that crap. I want both of our people to be livin around us though. I dont want it to be an all white place or all native place. I want a place where they both respect each other. I hear down south has great native-white relations.
