Wasn't Colonel Gaddafi doing a rather good job in Libya.?

I see the rebel forces on TV shooting their AK47s in the air and making their cut throat gestures and generally carrying on like a mad rabble and I have to think surely it was better when Gaddafi was keeping that lot in check. That these jihadis, yobos fundemental mentalists and all the rest of the rag tag rabble are about get access to huge amounts of money and arms has got be a cause for concern.
