Trees and other plants growing from seed, flourishing, dying. Keep a piece of fruit somewhere and take photos of it as it decays over a period of time. Graveyards. Maternity wards. Individual leaves sprouting, gradually turning colour in the autumn, falling and turning into skeletons (wonderful topic for embroidery). A piece of Buddhist prayer scarf hanging in the wind and gradually turning into a rag.
