Career Guidance Required in IT Field?

Completed 3 yrs Engg.Diploma in Computers, BBA thru Open University, Familiar with Programming in FoxPro, Now working as a TDL Programmer (TDL is a tool to customise Tally -Accounting Software),33 Yrs Old, No Growth in Present Job when compared with other IT'es. Want to Switch Over, Confused with doing SAP - ABAP (becoz of working experience). Please Guide me. Your answer may change my life career !
